Dr. Vedat AKTEPE (Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi)PREFACE Dear Students and Colleagues, Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Social Sciences Institute held the first International Cappadocia Social Sciences Student Congress between 7-9 November 2019. The first congress organized at Nigde Omer Halisdemir University this year in cooperation with Aksaray University, Kirsehir Ahi Evran University, and Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University. The aim of our first congress was to bring our students together in the field of social sciences, to mediate the sharing of experience, to prepare the subjects related to their fields of study in front of the students who participated in different universities under the moderation of experts and thus prepare them for academic life. There were 200 undergarduate and graduate students to our Congress from around 50 differrent universities in Turkey and nine different countries. Scientific papers are presented by students. The international congress helped graduate students to improve their thesis and developed new collaboration between students and academicians.
