Narin, ISoylak, M2019-08-012019-08-0119990174-7371https://hdl.handle.net/11480/5821The trace element contents of street dust samples collected from health centers, school gardens, car parks and streets in the Nigde City, Turkey, have been determined by flame-atomic absorption spectrometry after digestion with aqua regia. The mean concentration levels of nickel, copper, manganese, cobalt and cadmium were found to be 51.8, 44.3, 202.1, 25.2, 2.1 mu g/g, respectively. The highest levels of the trace metal ions within car parks and the streets with heavy traffic were noted. The lowest levels of the metal concentrations were found in the hospital and health centers. The levels of the metal ions were found below the mean world-wide contents of the street dust samples.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessstreet dusttrace metal concentrationsatomic absorption spectrometryTurkish studyMonitoring trace metal levels in Nigde, Turkey: nickel, copper, manganese, cadmium and cobalt contents of the street dust samplesArticle162991032-s2.0-0032993525N/AWOS:000079683600008Q4
