The PI (Proportional and Integral) gain coefficients in the speed estimator are optimally determined by utilizing Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. The performance of the speed estimator is tested with both simulation and real-time experiments for a wide speed range. The obtained results verify the desired performance of speed estimation. © IFAC.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessOptimization of model reference adaptive system based speed estimation for speed sensorless control of induction motors via differential evolution algorithmConference Object4611 PART273210.3182/20130703-3-FR-4038.001152-s2.0-84885832100N/A
