Çetinkale Demirkan G.Söğüt Z.2019-08-012019-08-0120181302-7050https://hdl.handle.net/11480/1722In this research, it was aimed to determine the effects of usage taken sewage sludge from Gökova–Akyaka Wastewater Treatment Plant on plant growth of Liquidambar orientalis species. In the experiment, sewage sludge was applied as 20 kg m2 year-1 dose and totally 12 times once in four months during two years (0 kg m2 year-1, 20 kg m2 year-1, 40 kg m2 year-1, 60 kg m2 year-1). For this reason plant height, body diameter, leaf color, some plant nutrients and heavy metals analyses were done. As a result of two year application, the highest length of plant obtained on the plants in a year which sewage sludge applied 20 kg m2 year-1, the most thickening on body diameter of the plants applied 40 kg m2 year-1, the darkest leaf color of the plants applied 60 kg m2 year-1. As a result of analysis, it wass determined that nickel and lead have toxic values. When the results are determined; it was found out that it was suitable to use up to 20 kg m2 year-1 sewage sludge on L. orientalis and it did not cause any harm on this species. © 2017 Namik Kemal University - Agricultural Faculty.
