In this sense, sinkholes are becoming a more and more current problem area. The Plateau of Obruk is a very interesting place in terms of smart and sustainable rural settlements as well as remote sensing and photogrammetry areas due to the collapsed areas that have become evident in recent years. A hazard mapping is urgently needed. In addition, a region-specific disaster early warning system should be designed. Regional planning need to be updated with new researches. It is clear that the traditional excessive use of agricultural water is a source of problems in the region, and this situation should be reconsidered and smart rural sustainability should be ensured. Otherwise, there will be serious losses in the productivity of the region, which is counted as a granary. The main purpose of the study will be to provide support for smart and sustainable rural settlements in the future, which will allow interdisciplinary issues and collaborations on the problem areas of the type.
