Bu büyük problemin en etkili çözümü; amacı araçları tasımak degil de insanları tasımak olan raylı toplu tasıma sistemidir. Bu tez çalısmasında öncelikle raylı toplu tasıma modlarından bahsedilmis, bu modlardan metro sisteminin en önemli bileseni olan sinyalizasyon sistemi, tarihi gelisiminden günümüz teknolojisiyle ulastıgı son noktaya kadar detaylı olarak incelenmis ve asrın projesi olarak da nitelendirilen ülkemizin prestiji Marmaray Projesi'nin sinyalizasyon sistemi degerlendirilmistir. The most efficient solution of this problem is the rail mass transportation aimed to transport people not vehicles. In this work, modes of rail mass transport are given, signaling system the most important component of metro systems among this modes is studied in detail from its historical evolution to the last point of technological development and the signaling system of Marmaray Project the biggest and the most prestige project of Turkey is analyzed.
