Öğe Lead concentrations of dust samples from Nigde City-Turkey(2000) Soylak M.; Narin I.; Elci L.; Dogan M.Lead accumulation in Nigde City-Turkey was investigated in sixty nine street dust samples. The lead levels in the samples were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry after extraction of lead with aqua regia. The concentrations of lead in the sixty nine dust samples were in the range of 82.2-450.2 µg/g with an average concentration of 167.6 µg/g. The highest and lowest mean concentrations of lead in the samples from Nigde City were found in car parks and in school gardens and playgrounds, respectively.
