Öğe Epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of the Samanli Mountains (Sakarya-Kocaeli-Yalova-Bursa) in Northwest Turkey [Epifitska vegetacija mahovina Samanli planine (Sakarya-Kocaeli-Yalova-Bursa) u severozapadnoj Turskoj](Institute of Botany and Botanical Garden "Jevremovac", University of Belgrade, 2018) Gözcü M.C.; Uyar G.; Alataş M.; Ezer T.; Ören M.Epifitska vegetacija mahovina Samanli planine u severozapadnom delu Turske je istrazivana na osnovu 191 snimka uzetih Braun-Blanquet metodom sa stabla drveca tokom 2015. i 2016. godine. © 2018 Institute of Botany and Botanical Garden Jevremovac, Belgrade. In the present study, epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of the Samanli Mountains (northwest Turkey) was investigated on the basis of 191 relevés taken from the trunks of trees by the Braun- Blanquet method between 2015 and 2016. Nine epiphytic bryophyte associations and three subassociations were determined as a result of this investigation. Among them, two associations and two subassociations, viz., Neckero - Anomodontetum viticulosi, Neckero - Anomodontetum viticulosi - anomodontetosum viticulosi, Syntrichietum laevipilae, and Syntrichietum laevipilae - orthotrichetosum lyellii, were recorded for the first time in Turkey. In addition, epiphytic bryophyte vegetation was classified and ordinated using multivariate analysis techniques such as two-way indicator species analysis and detrended correspondence analysis. Besides that, the life form and life strategies of the species within syntaxa were analysed. As a result, it is established that while perennial stayers with a high sexual reproductive effort were dominant within the epiphytic bryophyte vegetation comparatively, the most abundant life form was the mat rough type. © 2018 Institute of Botany and Botanical Garden Jevremovac, Belgrade.Öğe Scapania gracilis Lindb. (Hepaticae, Scapaniaceae), new to bryophyte flora of Turkey(2013) Ezer T.; Kara R.; Alataş M.Scapania gracilis Lindb. is a hygro- to mesophytic liverwort species which is reported for the first time from Turkey. The species is described from material collected from the north-west Anatolia (Sakarya) which has very warm summers and mild winters with high annual rainfall (800-1000 mm) in Marmara region and very humid conditions. Turkish plants are described and illustrated.Öğe The bryophyte flora of kaplandede mountain (düzce, turkey) [Kaplandede mäe (Düzce, Türgi) sammaltaimede floora](2010) Cangül C.; Ezer T.In this study, the bryoflora of the Kaplandede Mountain was investigated between March and October 2009. After the identification of 625 bryophyte specimens collected from the research area, total of 122 taxa (99 mosses, 22 liverworts, 1 hornwort) were found. Among them according to the grid-square system of Henderson (1961) three liverwort taxa and fifteen moss taxa are new records for A2 grid square. Cephaloziella dentata (Raddi) Steph. and Campylopus flexuosus (Hedw.) Brid. are recorded for the second time from Turkey. Two remarkable moss species, Orthotrichum scanicum Grönvall and Tortula brevissima Schiffn., were also collected from the study area.Öğe The epiphytic bryophyte flora and vegetation of boraboy and destek forests (Amasya, Turkey)(Pakistan Botanical Society, 2017) Alataş M.; Batan N.; Ezer T.; Uyar G.In this study, epiphytic bryophyte flora and vegetation were investigated of Boraboy and Destek forests in Amasya province (Turkey). A total of 22 bryophyte taxa (19 mosses, 3 liverworts) were recorded in the research site. As a result of the investigation of 32 sampling releves taken from the trunks by the Braun-Blanquet method, two epiphytic bryophyte associations (Orthotrichetum pallentisand Orthotrichetum striati) belonging to the Ulotion crispaealliance were detected. Among these syntaxa Orthotrichetum pallentiswas recorded for the first time from Turkey. Furthermore, the life forms and life strategies spectrum in syntaxa were analyzed. Analysis result indicates a distinct correlation between life forms, strategies and ecological conditions of the area. Weft and cushion are dominant life forms, Perennial stayers with high sexual reproductive effort is dominant life strategy in the syntaxa. In addition, the ecological characteristics of bryophyte taxa were evaluated. According to these results the largest number of epiphytic bryophytes in the area are mesophytic, sciophyte and subneutrophyte. © 2017, Pakistan Botanical Society. Between the years 2012-2013, as a result of identification of the 236 epiphytic bryophyte samples collected from the trunks of trees; total of 29 taxa (8 liverworts, 21 mosses) belonging to 23 genera and 17 families were determined. As a result of evaluation of the 33 relevés taken from the trunk of trees by Braun-Blanquet method, the Plagiothecietum neglecti association, Pylaisietum polyanthae typicum and Pylaisietum polyanthae -lophocoleetosum heterophyllae subassociation are identified. From these syntaxa, Plagiothecietum neglecti has been reported for the first time in Turkey, in addition Pylaisietum polyanthae -lophocoleetosum heterophyllae subassociation is new for knowledge. The life forms and life strategies of syntaxa examined in terms of ecological and floristic have been analyzed. Mat and weft are dominant of the life forms while Ag is dominant of the life strategies. In addition, the most taxa of floristic list are determimed mesophytic, sciophyt and acidic as a character. © 2015, Pakistan Botanical Society.
