Scientific Peer Review of University Teaching Members Working in Animal Feed and Animal Nutrition

In this study, it was aimed to determine the scientific peer review of the faculty members working in the Animal Science Department of the Faculty of Agriculture, Veterinary Faculty and Animal Nutrition Department of the universities in Turkey. For this reason, the data obtained from questionnaires conducted with 100 faculty members via e mail constituted the basis of the study. In the study, it was seen that the referee form was a healthy approach, the necessity of taking the referee training, and the volunteer should be the basis of the referee. In the survey, 51% of the referees read an average of 1-5 articles per year, and 47% of the referees read the articles they received in 15 days. It was determined that 75% of the faculty members who participated in the survey did not believe that the refereeing was not done properly, and 83% of the faculty members were seeking the names of the authors while refereeing.
