Subsequently, rigid tricyclic compounds (2a-g) possessing oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur been synthesized by employing thermal intramolecular Diels-Alder reactions. All rights reserved.Öğe Electrochemical Synthesis and Characterization of ZnO Nanocomposite Copolymer Containing Fluorescent Feature Dye(2019) Kılavuz, Esra; Turaç, Ersen; Şahmetlioğlu, ErtuğrulBODIPY (boron dipyrrolmethene) has attracted the attention of scientists although the synthesis ofBODIPY from the fluorescent dye class is challenging, there are many applications such as fluorescence, ion /molecule and pH probes, sensors, redox active molecules, metal chelators, cellular imaging, photodynamictherapy, drug delivery materials and photovoltaic applications and energy storage. Firstly, it is synthesized withdifficulty in synthesis but attractive fluorescence active monomer. Then, by electrochemical method, aconductive copolymer, which is an innovative material, was synthesized. The nanocomposite was synthesizedwith the help of a potentiostat using Zno nanoparticles to increase the strength and conductivity properties ofthe obtained semiconducting material and its existence was determined by advanced technological devices suchas SEM-EDX, AFM-Raman. Characteristic peaks of inorganic and nano-scale compounds such as ZnO areobserved in the fingerprint region and weak / medium in the conventional FT-IR device. This makes it difficultto qualitatively diagnose the compounds by infrared spectrometry. İntramoleküler Diels-Alder (IMDA) reaksiyonlan bromo ve kloro turfurilalkenlerin (la-i) toluen içerisinde ısıtılmasıyla halkahürünler (2a-i) sentezlendi. Thorpe-Ingold etkisi ve tert-bütil karboksilat gibi hacimli koruyucu grubun kullanılması molekül içi katılma reaksiyonlarını kolaylaştırır aksi halde katılma gerçekleşmez. As the synthetic materials and products are more complex in comparison to natural substances, it will take a long time to complete their natural cycles and return to nature, thus, causing a lot of environmental pollution.Green and brown shells of walnuts that are not only valuable crops but also important components of the Mediterranean dietare by-products of the walnut production, having scarce use (especially green shell). Thus, using shells as a source of dye will increase the value of the walnut production, as well as offering utilization for a by-product, which is produced in large quantities. The purpose of this study is to produce dye from wastegreen and brown walnut shells, compare quality of these dyesand apply themseparately in untreated leather. Before chemical processes, the walnut shells were chopped in a grinding mill. They were dried in an oven toeliminate the humidity and extracted inSoxhlet apparatus by using ethanol solution. Then,the ethanol solution was evaporated in controlled way and the produced dyes weremordanted by using potassium aluminium sulphate (PAS). The dyes were analysed by TLC and UV-Vis, whereas dyed leathers were analysed by colorfastness test. The present study showed that brown walnut shell dye having higher color values was better for yield, dye penetration and fastness properties compared to green walnut shell dye.Luminous effect was observed when these dyes were applied in leather. It is interesting, uncommon and economically valuable for leather industry.This study would be a positive step to meet the need of leather industry in Turkey and a good example for cleaner production.Öğe Tiyofen türevi yeni tip iletken polimerlerin sentez ve karakterizasyonu(Niğde Üniversitesi, 2010) Turaç, Ersen; Yürük, HüseyinBu çalışmada dört farklı tiyofen monomeri sentezlenmiştir. Monomerlerin karakterizasyonu Nükleer Manyetik Rezonans Spektroskopisi (1H-NMR) ve Fourier Transform İnfrared Spektroskopisi (FTIR) yöntemleri kullanılarak gerçekleştirildi. Monomerlerin elektrokimyasal davranışları dönüşümlü voltametri ile araştırılmıştır. Sabit potansiyel elektroliz yöntemi kullanılarak monomerlerin, homopolimerleri ve 3,4-etilendioksitiyofen (EDOT) ile kopolimerleri sentezlenmiştir. Sonuç polimerler ve kopolimerler FTIR, TGA, SEM ve iletkenlik ölçümü gibi yöntemler kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir. Son yıllarda iletken polimerlerin elektrokromik özelliklerine ilgi artmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci kısmında iletken polimerin en ilginç özelliklerinden biri olan, tersinir olarak iki farklı optik özellik arasında değişim yapma özelliği elektrokromizm çalışılmıştır. Bu nedenle sentezlenen iletken polimerin elektrokromizm özellikleri, spektroelektrokimya, kinetik ve kolorimetrik çalışmalar gibi birkaç metotla araştırılmıştır. Spektroelektrokimya deneyleri band aralık enerjisi, maksimum dalga boyu gibi iletken polimerlerin anahtar özelliklerini araştırmak için gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kopolimerin renk değiştirme zamanı ve optik kontrastı kinetik çalışmalarla incelenmiştir.
