dc.description.abstractDrone or other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), known as four-rotor, are actively used by different industries, besides using for hobby purposes. Traffic control, advertising and cargo transportation can be given as an examples of areas where UAVs are used. The success of the UAVs in the specified sectors depends on the success of the autopilot systems. The slightest error that may occur in autopilot systems used in UAVs causes material damage and even makes them unusable. The best way to test the success of autopilot systems is flight tests. The fact that flight tests are costly necessitates the use of loop systems in software and hardware that will enable these tests to be performed with the use of computers and various hardware in the laboratory environment. Because of this reason, in this study, data transfer by UDP communication between control system at Matlab / Simulink enviroment and X-Plane flight simulation program developed by Laminar Research company which presents the most realistic flight dynamics and environmental conditions explained. © 2019 IEEE.
