Özet
The relationship between human being and nature together with the Enlightenment has been a rapid process of change. Because of this change required by an economic structure based on intensive use of resources, the environment is damaged on a large scale. The devastation on nature is caused by this economic understanding get harm not only plants and animals, but also people. On the negative statements coming out of this, the existing production concept was suggested to be questioned and replaced. Concept of sustainable development has been prominent in the thinking of these considerations. However, sustainable development has evolved at a rate of a very limited and expansion of the concept of sustainable development has been slow. Although existing in the world dominant economic models is sources of environmental problems, there are neither proposed fundemantal changes nor implemented any recommendations. There is no claim that a significant change in the understanding of growth, consumption, cost-benefit, competition by the view of sustainable development. This condition is the weakest link of the concept of sustainable development. Developed after 1980 with the beginning of the process of globalization of the market economy to spread throughout the world, suspicions about the applicability of the concept of sustainable development has increased.
