| dc.description.abstract | Increasing spread of information and communication technologies have happened gradually to be an indisputable part of economic and social life, which gives rise to increasing expectations of modern man from government whose role as is comforting these expectations, which is necessary condition to being a modern government. Coordination and cooperation of central government and local government with respect to diving authority and responsibility and also the dimension of the relationship between government, private entrepreneurs, and citizen inevitably lead to more efficient use of information and communication tools. One of the indicators of modern understanding of government is as follows: transforming the functioning of government into an online form, providing citizens with public services in a digital environment and diminishing bureaucratic procedures to least level by using information technologies. In this essay, various descriptions and the origins of e-government are discussed. Further, possible consequences it may have and the areas in which it may play an important role, are examined. Our model deals with the influences of e-government, encouraging features of e-government, business, lobbies, societies and other actors of private society organizations, including political environment, technology, law, finance, publicity, cooperation on with others, structure of organization and staff. And, the applications of e-government with respect to e-democracy and e-administration are also examined. | |
