dc.description.abstractA novel ligand (HL) has been synthesized by condensation of 4-nitro-1-naphthylamine with 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde, and its complexes with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) have been prepared and charecterized by spectroscopic methods. The effect of the ligand and its copper complex on chromosome has been tested by two methods, CA and micronucleus.
