dc.description.abstractThe MATLAB/Simulink realization of DC motor speed control methods is achieved here by controlling the voltage applied to the armature circuit using various controlled and uncontrolled power electronic converters. The power electronic converters used in simulation models include full-bridge diode rectifier, half controlled rectifier and pulse width modulated (PWM) chopper. These Simulation models are developed as a part of a software laboratory to support and enhance undergraduate electric machinery courses at Nigde University, Turkey.
