Öğe Effects of Human Rights Education using the Creative Drama Method on the Attitudes of Pre-service Teachers(KAMLA-RAJ ENTERPRISES, 2016) Ulubey, Ozgur; Aykac, MurtazaThe study aimed to develop pre-service teachers' skills, awareness and positive attitudes toward basic human rights and freedoms. In order to achieve this, one -group pretest-posttest design was used. Participants of the study were 5 males and 14 females, in total 19, volunteer first-grade pre-service teachers from the Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Ankara University in the 2012-2013 academic year, spring semester. Data of the study were gathered using Attitude Scale for Human Rights Education, Teacher Opinionnaire on Democracy and Semi-structured Interview Schedule; they were analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and content analyses. Results of the study showed that creative drama is an effective method for developing skills, awareness and positive attitudes toward basic human rights.Öğe The effect of creative drama activities in early childhood on the executive functions of children(Routledge Journals, Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2022) Ciftci, Munire Aydilek; Aykac, MurtazaIn this study, it is aimed to reveal the effect of creative drama activities implemented in early childhood on the executive functions of children who are between 60 and 72 months old. The study is designed as quasi experimental study with pretest and posttest control group. In the class determined as the experimental group, 18 drama sessions, which are planned according to the learning outcomes improving executive functions, were implemented. In the study, to evaluate the executive functions of the children The Map Task, Camel- Dwarf Game and Tower of London Test were used as data collection tools. A meaningful difference was observed in the executive functions of forward memory and the backward memory, inhibition, problem solving and cognitive flexibility of the children in the experimental group that the creative drama activities were implemented.
