Öğe Digital trust in the workplace: Testing a new instrument on a multicultural sample(WSB University, 2022) Launer, Markus; Çetin, Fatih; Paliszkiewicz, JoannaThe theme of digital trust is of the utmost importance during the digital transformation of our workplaces and society. Rapidly changing technological innovations dis- rupt lives and workplaces. Such a transformation influ- ences an employee’s feelings and self-esteem pertaining to their work and life. It changes the way people believe in the ability, reliability, and power of something or someone. This study suggests a new instrument for the measurement of digital trust in the workplace based on three dimensions: Technology, people, and processes. We used a worldwide sample consisting of 5575 employees working in different countries and industries, employ- ing a snowball sampling method. An online survey was used to collect data after translating items into different languages. In order to test the proposed model, the fac- torial structures and internal consistencies were calcu- lated. The results showed that the 50-item questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring the core structure of a digital trust model. Moreover, the affirmed 10 subdimensions present a constructional basis for un- derstanding the main drivers of digital trust in the work- place. This study builds and tests a new three-dimension- al model of digital trust in the workplace. Focusing on employees’ trust perceptions of technologies, people, and processes in the workplace, this study presents three fac- tors which are fundamental to answering the question of what influences employees’ digital trust in the workplace. This study proposes a valid and reliable instrument for measuring digital trust in the workplace in different en- vironments. © 2022, WSB University. The research sample consisted of 969 participants (137 from Georgia, 105 from Poland, 130 from Romania, 152 from Slovenia, 102 from Spain, 123 from Taiwan, 120 from Turkey, and 100 from the United States). Qualitative data analysis was used for exploring participants' perspectives among different cultures. The results showed that there were numerous differences among the respondents regarding their perceptions of Information and Communication Technologies, empowerment, and success. Positive experiences of ICTs were primarily related to simplifying communication and enabling easy access to information and methods for sharing it, while negative experiences were typically associated with privacy issues. The success of using ICTs was similarly related to the ability to increase awareness and simplify communication, both of which are necessary for women to reach specified goals and achieve success in the workplace.Öğe Intuition and Digital Trust in the Workplace: Exploring Decision-Making Styles(World Scientific Publishing Co., 2022) Paliszkiewicz, Joanna; Çetin, Fatih; Launer, Markus[No abstract available]Öğe THE ROLE OF SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES IN WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT PERCEPTION An international comparison(Routledge, 2021) Madra-Sawicka, Magdalena; Paliszkiewicz, Joanna; Nord, Jeretta Horn; Cetin, Fatih[Abstract Not Available]
