dc.description.abstract	Türk-İslâm tarihinde büyük bir öneme sahip olan ?Zengiler? ailesine mensup Nureddin Mahmud Zengi, bütün saltanatı boyunca ömrünü Haçlılar ile mücadeleye adamıştır. Nureddin'in en büyük hayali Haçlılar'a komşu olan İslâm ülkeleri arasında tam bir işbirliği sağlayarak, onları kendi idaresi altında birleştirip, Haçlılar'a karşı sağlam bir cephe kurmaktı. Nureddin Mahmud Zengi'nin tarihteki önemi ile ilgili birçok çalışma zaten yapılmıştı. Tezimde ben, bu önemi, Nureddin Mahmud'un Haçılarla mücadelesi noktasında belirginleştirmeye çalıştım.Tezimiz, bir Girişten sonra beş bölümden oluşmakta ve bir sonuç bölümü ile bitmektedir. Giriş bölümünde, haçlı seferlerinin başlama sebepleriyle, I. ve II. haçlı seferleri ile ilgili tarihî bilgilere yer verilmektedir.Tezimizin Birinci Bölümünde, Zengi ailesinin ilk dönem faaliyetleri, Urfa Haçlı Kontluğu'nun kuruluşu ve bu kontluğun İmameddin Zengi tarafından alınması anlatılmıştır..İkinci Bölümde, Nureddin Mahmud Zengi ve II. Haçlı Seferi hakkında bilglere yer verilmiştir.Üçüncü Bölümde, II. Haçlı Seferi sonası Nureddin Mahmud Zengi'nin faaliyetleri anlatılmıştır.Dördüncü Bölümde, bölümde ise, Nureddin Mahmud Zengi'nin şahsiyeti ile ilgili bilgilere yer verilirken, sonuç bölümünde tezimiz ile ilgili yargılar ortaya konmuştur.Kaynakça bölümünde ise çalışmamız boyunca yararlandığımız kaynaklar tanıtılmıştır.
dc.description.abstract	Nureddin Mahmud Zengi who belonged to Zengi family having a significant place in history, dedicated his life to struggle against the Crusaders the greast dream of Nureddin was to form a coordination among ıslamic countries which were neighbour of the Crusaders, to unite them under his rule and to constitute a strong front againts the crusaders. A myriad of studies were conducted about the importance of Nureddin Mahmud Zengi in history. In my thesis, I tried to clarify this importance with the point of his struggles against the Crusaders.My thesis formed with one introduction and five main part, then finished with a result part. In introduction part, historical studies told for reasons about beginning of crusaders war and 1st&2nd crusaders wars.In the first part of the thesis, the first term zengi family activities urfa crusader shire the establishment of the Urfa crusader shire and described in this shire taken by Zengi İmameddin.In the second section, Mahmud Nureddin Zengi and II. crusade concerns informaitons have been given.The third section the activities of Nureddin Mahmud Zengi after II. Crusade have been explained.In the fourth chapter, its given informaiton about the figure of Nureddin Mahmud Zengi. in the result section, it has been revealed judgments about our thesisIn the bibliography part, the sources I utilized in my study were indicated.
