In this study, "Self-Efficacy Belief Scale in Science Teaching" was used, which was developed by Enochs and Riggs (1990). The study was designed based on experimental design with pretest-posttest control group. The scale was applied to 78 pre-service teachers enrolled at the 3rd grade of Nigde University Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education as a pretest before the implementation and as a posttest after the implementation. It was found that technology based teaching materials were effective on science teaching self-efficacy beliefs of pre-service elementary teachers only as much as the teaching materials designed by teachers.
