It is thought that the findings obtained by examining the folk music culture in Niğde province and the instruments used in the culture of this region and also used outside the culture will provide gains in organology. In order to determine the findings, the instruments in the field and also in the literature were investigated. Coming from the folk music culture and folk instruments in Anatolia, the musical culture of Niğde province and the instruments used here are emphasized. Here, data such as the types of instruments, the structural differences between the past and the present state of the instruments, and the cultural elements on the instrument have been collected and discussed from an organological point of view. In order to carry out the study, the instrument makers and local artists in the province were interviewed, the instruments in the Niğde museum were also examined and the findings were obtained. In the literature review phase, scientific articles such as articles, theses, encyclopedias, books, and journals were collected and examined in detail. String, string, wind, percussion, mechanism and hybrid instruments obtained after interviews and literature review were photographed in detail and their organological and morphological features were examined in detail. As a result of the study, various instruments that do not belong to the region are also seen. Keywords: Folk Culture, Ethnography, Organology, Musicology
