Özet
Bu tez çalısmasının amacı, Osmanlı Devleti'nin maarif alanında yaptıgı reform hareketlerinden biri olarak açılan idadi mekteplerinin sadece vilayet merkezlerinde faaliyet gösteren yatılı kısımlarının durumunu ortaya koyabilmektir. Tanzimat Dönemi'nde modern anlamda bir ortaögretim kurumu olarak sadece rüsdiyelerden ibaret olan Osmanlı Maarifi, 1869 yılında yayınlanan ?Maarif-i Umumiye Nizamnamesi? ile büyük bir atılım gerçeklestirmistir. Günümüz egitimindeki kademe sisteminin de çekirdegi diyebilecegimiz bu nizamname ile açılmaya baslayan idadiler, böylece bir ortaögretim kurumu olarak ortaya çıkmıstır. Bundan sonra idadiler özellikle II. Abdülhamid Dönemi'nde, II. Mesrutiyet döneminin ilk yılları da dahil olmak üzere, yüksek ögretime ögrenci yetistirerek kendisinden beklenen hizmeti yerine getirmistir. Arastırmamızda, idadilerin vilayet merkezlerinde bulunan yatılı kısımlarının Osmanlı maarifine olan faydaları ve egitimin tabana yayılması amacıyla yerine getirdigi hizmet anlatılmaya çalısılmıstır. Ayrıca fakir ve ihtiyaç sahibi olan, sehit, yetim çocuklarının yatılı idadilerde kalabilmek için devletin çok uzak yerlerinden bu okullara geldikleri anlatılmıstır. Program yönünden de oldukça modern bir yapıda olan idadilerin hem dini bakımdan hem de çocukları hayata hazırlayıcı yönü bakımından fen derslerine de agırlık verdigi görülmüstür. Açılması ve masraflarının karsılanması diger mekteplere nazaran büyük paralar gerektiren yatılı idadilerin bu masrafları karsılayabilmesi için alınan tedbirlerde bu çalısmada anlatılmaya çalısılmıstır. Böylece büyük paralar harcanarak yapılan yatılı idadi mekteplerinin binaları da günümüzde halen kullanılmakta ve hizmet vermeye devam etmektedir. Bütün bunların yanında arastırmanın eksiksiz oldugunu söylemek mümkün degildir. Öyle ki; Türk Maarif Tarihi'nin oldukça karmasık bir yapıda olması, her yönden incelenmesi gerekliligi ortadadır. Bu bakımdan elimize geçen bilgi ve belgeler ısıgında yatılı idadilerin yerine getirmis oldugu hizmet anlatılmaya çalısılmıstır.
The aim of this thesis study is to expose the condition of boarding parts of high schools that is only active in town centers as opening one of the reform activities of Ottoman in education section. In Reforms Period the Otaman education, consisting of only junior high schools as a modern secondary education institution, realized an important progress with General Education Statute published in 1869. High school began to be opened with this statute. We can say that it is the nucleus of level system at present education. Thus these high school came into being as a secondary education institution. After this; high school, especially in period of second II. Abdülhamid including first years of second Constitutional Government, fulfilled the expected duty by educating students for higher-instruction. In our research, it has been tried to be explained the profits of the boarding parts of high school in town centers to Otaman education and duty fulfilled with the aim of spreading education. It has been aıso explained that poor, martyr and orphan children came from far away for staying these boarding high schools. The programme of the boarding high schools were also at a very modern structure. So that it has ben demanstrated to attach importance to science lessons fort he reasons of both ecclesiastical and preparing children to the life. In this study, it has been tried tobe explained that opening and covering expenses of the boarding high schools require great deal of Money according to other schools and precautions for covering these expenses. Thus buildings of the boarding high schools constructed by spending more Money have still worked now. Besides it is impossible to say that the research is perfect.Thus it is clear that the history of turk education has quite complex structure and it is necessary to be researched with every parts. So, it has been tried to be explained the duty of the boarding high schools with the lights of documents and information we have.
