Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, badminton branşındaki müsabık ve lisanslı sporculara uygulanan 8 haftalık core egzersizlerin fiziksel ve motorik özellikleri ile core kuvvet üzerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma, 13-15 yaş aktif badminton sporu yapan lisanslı sporcular üzerinde yapılmıştır. Sporcular 8 hafta boyunca haftada üç gün iki saatlik temel badminton antrenman programına tabi tutulmuştur. Bu antrenman programları devam ederken, sporculara her antrenmandan sonra 30 dakikalık core kuvveti antrenman programı uygulanmıştır. 8 haftalık egzersiz programı öncesinde ve sonrasında motorik ve core kuvvet egzersiz ölçüleri alınmıştır. Gruba, fiziksel özelliklerden; yaş, boy uzunluğu (cm), vücut ağırlığı (kg), durarak uzun atlama, mekik testi, pençe kuvveti sağ-sol, dikey sıçrama, uzun atlama, tapping sağ-sol, 20 metre sürat, esneklik, oturma yükseklik, kulaç özelliklerini ölçmek için ön ve son test uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonunda elde edilen istatistiksel verilerin analizi IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 paket programıyla yapılmıştır. Sporcuların ön ve son testler arasındaki karşılaştırmalarında Shapiro-Wilk testi uygulanmıştır. Sporcuların ön test ve son test değerleri karşılaştırıldığında taping sol, taping sağ, dikey sıçrama, pençe kuvveti sağ, pençe kuvveti sol testleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir. (p<0,05) Core ölçümü mekik ve 20 metre sürat testleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklılık tespit edilmiştir. (p<0,05) Bu çalışmanın, core kuvveti ve badminton ile ilgili yapılacak olan bilimsel çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağı ve sporcularının fiziksel parametreleri üzerine olumlu etkileri olduğu söylenebilir.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of 8-week core exercises on physical and motoric properties and core strength, applied to competitive and licensed athletes in the badminton branch. The study applied on licensed athletes aged 13-15 years who are active in badminton sport. Athletes were subjected to a two-hour basic badminton training program three days a week for eight weeks. While these training programs continue, a 30-minute core strength training program was applied to the athletes after each training. Motoric and core strength exercise measurements were taken before and after the 8-weeks exercise program. Pre and post tests were applied to the group to measure the physical properties; age, height (cm), body weight (kg), standing long jump, shuttle test, claw strength right-left, vertical jump, long jump, tapping right-left, 20 meters speed, flexibility, sitting height, stroke characteristics. The statistical data obtained at the end of the study were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 package program. Shapiro-Wilk test was used for comparison of athletes between pre and post tests. When the pre-test and post-test values of the athletes were compared, a meaningful difference was found between taping left, taping right, vertical jump, claw strength right, paw strength left tests. (p<0,05) A statistically meaningful difference was found between core measurement shuttle and 20 meters speed tests. (p<0,05) That can be said that this study will contribute to the scientific studies about core strength and badminton and this study has positive effects on the physical parameters of athletes.
