Özet
Vasiyet-nâmeler; Türk Edebiyatının en eski türlerinden olup siyasi, tıbbi, özel ve dinî-tasavvufi konularda manzum ve mensur olarak yazılmış çok sayıda esere ad olmuştur. Klasik Türk Edebiyatı ve Türk Halk Edebiyatında ,,iştirak edilen bir gelenek" hâlinde devam eden vasiyet-nâme yazıcılığı, Türk Tasavvuf Edebiyatında ayrıcalıklı bir yere sahip olup bir tür hâlini almıştır. Çeşitli nazım şekilleriyle değişik hacimlerde vasiyet-nâmeler kaleme alınmıştır. Bunlardan birisi de mektup şeklinde yazılan özel vasiyetnâmelerdir. Bu çalışmada incelenen örnek ise, Kânûnî Sultan Süleyman"ın Şehzâde Mustafa"ya ilim ve maarif hakkında yazdığı vasiyet mektubudur
Testament of Turkish literature is one of the oldest types of political, medical, private and religious-mystical issues as written in verse and prose works of work.
