Özet
Bu çalışmada ölüm ritüelleri ve müzik ilişkisi Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba tekkesi örneğinde incelenmiştir. Saha araştırması ve literatür taraması yoluyla elde edilen bilgiler detaylı bir şekilde sunulmuş ve kayıt altına alınan müzikal ögeler notaya alınmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında ritüel kavramı tanıtılmış ve Honko'nun sunduğu sınıflandırmaya göre Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba tekkesindeki ritüeller analiz edilmiştir. Betimsel bir çalışma olan bu tezde ölüm ve müzik arasındaki ilişki Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba tekkesi örneğinde sunulmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda Honko'nun kavramsallaştırmasının yeterli olmadığı ve ölüm ritüellerinin hem takvimsel hem de geçiş ritüeli olarak değerlendirilebileceği bulunmuştur. This study was an attempt to analyze the relationship between death and music in the case of Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba dervish lodge. Data obtained from field study and literature reviews was presented in details and notated. Within the content of this study, the concept of ritual was conceptualized and the rituals performed in Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba dervish lodge were analyzed using the classification proposed by Honko. This descriptive study analyzed the relationship between death and music in the case of Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba dervish lodge. The study found that Honko's conceptualization of rituals was not sufficient to analyze the death rituals in the case of Turgutlu Mücerret Ali Rıza Baba dervish lodge since the phenomenon of death may be considered as both calendrical and crisis rituals.
