Requirement of place and time independent communication has become one of the indispensable necessities of today. When the utilized communication systems are considered, it is shown that wireless communication systems are greatly preferred owing to presented advantages. Image transmission performances of the direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) systems over Weibull fading channels are examined for the first time in this study. The Weibull fading channel model is an appropriate channel model to characterize multipath fading channels for both indoor and outdoor environments. In order to analyze the communication system, design of a DS-CDMA communication system that utilizes the Walsh-Hadamard spreading codes are conducted. Detailed performance analyses are presented for both different user numbers and various channel parameters.
