Özet
Bu çalışmada, termoküresel rüzgarların iyonküre plazması üzerindeki etkileri araştırıldı. Orta enlemlerde gündüz saatlerinde kutuplara doğru esen rüzgar, F2-tepesi $(h_m F2)$ yüksekliğini azaltır, gece saatlerinde ise ekvatora doğru esen rüzgar $h_m F2$ yüksekliğini artırır. Rüzgarlar gündüz saatlerinde $N_m F2$ yoğunluğunu azaltırken, gece saatlerinde artırmaktadır.
In this study, the effects of thermospheric winds on the ionospheric plasma have been investigated. By day the poleward winds at midlatitudes reduce F2-peak $(h_m F2)$ height; at nighttime the equatorward winds increase $h_m F2$. During the daytime, the winds decrease the $N_m F2$ density, while during the nighttime increase it.
