Özet
Toplumu ve insan hayatını tarih boyunca etkileyen unsurlar arasında inançlar önemli bir yer tutar. Türk hayatında kisinin karakterinin olusmasında oldugu gibi, aile ve toplum üyeleri ile olan iliskilerin düzenlenmesinde, gelismesinde ve yürütülmesinde de bu inançların mühim rol oynadıgı görülür. Ercis ve çevresinde yaptıgımız çalısmada, yöre halkının hayatında inançların aynı özell ikler içinde sürdügünü gördük. Yöredeki inançlar ve bunlara baglı pratiklerin arastı rılması sı rasında, bunların Orta Asya Türk inançları ile paralellikler tasıdıgını tespi t ettik. Söz konusu inançlar ile ilgili derledigimiz bilgileri sınıflamak ve ilgili her madde ile baglı malzemeyi degerlendirmek suretiyle dogru biçimde tasvi r etmeye çalıstık. Çalısmamızın amacı, eski Türk inançları ile yörede yasayan inançlar arasında bi r benzerlik ve devamlılık olup olmadıgını ortaya koymaktı . Çalısmayı gerçeklesti rdigimizde elde ettgimiz sonucun, amacımızı dogrulayacak seviyede neticelendigini gördük.
Beliefs take a great part among the mat ters affecting the society and human life during history. As in the formation of the personality of the individual in the Turkish society, it is seen that they play an important role in the organisation, development and maintenance of his relationships wi th his family and society members. At the study that we have done in Ercis and its surroundings, we have determined that the local public maintained their beliefs in thei r lives in the same characteristics. In course of researching the beliefs in the region and the practices depending thereon, we have fixed that they were in parallel of the Turkish believes of the Middle Asia. We have tried hard to categorize the information that we have gathered in relation to the mentioned beliefs and to describe them in a way to consider the material in connection with each art icle. The purpose of our study was to reveal if there was a similarity and continuity between the Ancient Turkish Beliefs and the beliefs surviving in the location. As a result of the execution of our study, we have seen that the result that we have got has resulted in a way to confirm our purpose.
