Özet
Osmanlı Devleti'nde yaşanan ağır savaşlarla yenilgilere rağmen hac vazifesini yerine getirilebilmek için kara ve deniz yoluyla yolcu taşınmaya devam edilmiştir. Kara yoluyla hacıların naklinin uzun sürmesi ve güç olmasından dolayı özellikle hacıların nakli gemilerle yapılmıştır. Hacıların nakli sırasında başta kaptanlar olmak üzere sıhhiye idaresine önemli görevler düşüyordu. Gemilerle hacıların nakli sırasında kalabalık ortamlardan kaynaklanan salgın hastalıklar yaşanmıştır. Buna karşı hac yolunda tahaffuzhane ve karantinahaneler kurularak hacıların sağlık kontrolüne dikkat edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada Osmanlı Devleti'nde hacı adaylarının gemilerle nakli sırasında alınan tedbirler anlatılmaya çalışılacaktır
During the Ottoman Era, despite the defeats after heavy wars, pilgrims were continued to be carried by land and by the sea in order to fulfill the pilgrimage. The transfer of the pilgrims was performed by ships because the land transfer took too long and was difficult. During the transfer of the pilgrims, the health staff had important duties together with the captains of the ships. During the transfer of the pilgrims in ships, epidemic diseases stemming from crowded places might appear. On the other hand, quarantine stations were established on the way to the pilgrimage, and the health of the pilgrims was cared for. In this study, the precautions taken during the transfer of the pilgrim candidates in the Ottoman State will be examined
