In this MSc thesis, the main aim was to evaluate migration behavior of Spotted Flycatcher and to reveal the migration dynamics of them according to different seasons and ages, at the Cernek Ringing Station on the shore of Lake Cernek located in the Kızılırmak Delta. This study was carried out during the 2018 autumn and 2019 spring migration periods. The data obtained in the ringing studies conducted between 2002-2018 were also used in this study by obtaining the necessary permissions. In the autumn migration period, 14 times more Spotted Flycatchers have been ringed compared to spring season. 89% among all ringed birds in autumn were immatures, while 11% were identified as adults. The median ringing duration was in spring 23 days, and in autumn 47 days, which indicates that spring migration lasts within a shorter period than autumn. A positive correlation was found between the fat score and weight of Spotted Flycatchers for both seasons, and in autumn there were Spotted Flycatchers with higher fat scores than in spring.
