Abstract
This study was carried out in order to detect the seroprevalance of toxoplasmosis in cattle in Nigde between March 1998-January 1999. Using the Sabin-Feldman test Toxoplasma gondii antibodies were determined in 100 cattle of which 1 cattle had abortion in Nigde. As a result, 47 of 100 cattle (47%) were found seropositive. In the group ofseropositive cattle, it was found that 29 sera samples were positive at the 1/16 dilution, 16 sera samples at the 1/64 dilution and 2 sera samples at the 1/256 dilution. The seropositivity titers of the aborted cattle was found at 1/16.
