dc.description.abstractGünümüz koşullarında ülkelerin karşılaştığı en temel sorunlardan birisi "istihdam artışını sağlayamamak"tır. İktisadi literatürde emek talebini artırmanın yollarından birisi ekonomik büyüme ve bunu etkileyen faktörlerin varlığıdır. Ancak, dünyada ekonomik büyüme artmasına karşın istihdamın artmaması olgusu ("işsiz veya istihdamsız büyüme") ekonomik büyüme ve istihdam ilişkisinin detaylı incelenmesini gerektirmektedir. Bu kapsamda, ekonomik büyüme ve istihdam ilişkisi gelişmekte olan ülkeler arasında yer alan Türkiye ekonomisi için önemli bir araştırma alanıdır. Tezin amacı ise Türkiye'de 1991-2018 döneminde ekonomik büyüme ve istihdam ilişkisini Vektör Otoregresif (VAR) modeller yardımıyla araştırmaktadır. Çalışmada ampirik sonuçlar Türkiye ekonomisi için ele alınan dönemde Okun Kanununun geçerli olmadığını veya "istihdamsız veya işsiz büyüme sorunu"nun varlığını ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractOne of the main problems faced by countries in today's conditions is "not being able to provide employment growth". One of the ways to increase labor demand in the economic literature is economic growth and the presence of factors that affect it. However, the fact that employment growth ("unemployed or unemployed growth" increases despite economic growth in the world requires a detailed examination of the relationship between economic growth and employment. In this context, situated between developing countries, economic growth and employment relations is an important area of research for Turkey's economy. The aim of this thesis is to research the relationship between economic growth and employment in Turkey by the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) models. In this study, empirical results show that the Okun law is not valid or existence of "unemployed or jobless growth problem" in the period considered.
