| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim II. kademede görev yapan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin özyeterliliklerini belirlemek ve sonuçlarını çeşitli değişkenler (cinsiyet, medeni durum, mesleki kıdem vb.) açısından incelemektir.Tarama modelindeki bu araştırma, 2010 - 2011 öğretim yılı II. yarıyılında Ankara İli Merkez İlçedeki İlköğretim II. kademe okullarında görev yapan 115 (42 erkek, 73 kadın) sosyal bilgiler öğretmeninin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırmada veri, Senemoğlu, Demirel, Yağcı, Üstündağ (2009) tarafından geliştirilen, geçerlik güvenilirlik testi sonucunda son halini alan ve 24 maddeden oluşan ?Öğretmen Özyeterlik Ölçeği? ile toplanmıştır. Buna ek olarak, öğretmenlerin kişisel bilgileri de kaydedilmiş ve karşılaştırmalarda kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veri, bilgisayarda SPSS 15.0 İstatistik programında bağımsız t testi (independent sample t test), tek yönlü varyans analizi (Anova) ve KruskalWallis-H testi, kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir.Araştırma sonunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin özyeterlilikleri ile mezun oldukları fakülte arasında; disiplin, eğitim öğretim süreci ve sınıf yönetimi alt boyutları ile mesleki kıdemleri arasında; disiplin alt boyutu ile mezun oldukları fakülte arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buna karşılık, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin özyeterlilikleri ile cinsiyetleri, medeni durumları, mesleki kıdemleri ve öğrenim durumları arasında da anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadığı saptanmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmelerinin özyeterlilik düzeyleri anket sorularındaki tutum ve görüşlerle ortaya konulmuş ve bunun daha iyi seviyeye çıkarılması için çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Sözcükler: Özyeterlilik, Sosyal Bilgiler, İlköğretim, Öğretmen. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to find out the self efficacy levels of social studies teachers who work at the 2nd stage of primary school and to analyze the results in terms of different variables (gender, marital status, length of service, etc).This study, which is arranged as scanning model, is conducted in the 2nd term of 2010-2011 teaching period with the participation of 115 (42 male, 73 female) social studies teachers who work at 2nd-stage primary schools within the city center of Ankara.The data is obtained with ?Teacher Self Efficacy Scale? which is developed by Senemoğlu, Demirel, Yağcı, Üstündağ (2009). The scale is modified after validity and reliability tests and it consists of 24 items. In addition, personal information about the teachers is also recorded and used in comparisons. Data is analyzed by independent t test, one-way variance analysis (Anova) and KruskalWallis-H test in SPSS 15.0 program.At the end of the study, a significant difference is found between the self efficacy levels of the social studies teachers and the faculties they graduated; between the sub-dimensions of discipline, education period and class management and their lengths of service; between the discipline sub-dimension and the faculties they graduated. However, no significant difference is found between the teachers? self efficacy levels and their genders, marital status, lengths of service and educational conditions.The efficacy levels of social studies teachers are introduced with the attitudes and views in the questionnaire questions and some suggestions to improve their efficacy levels are made.Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Social Studies, Primary Education, Teacher. | |
