dc.description.abstract	Göç olgusu insanoğlunun varoluşuyla başlamış ve var olduğu sürece devam edecek bir süreçtir. BM nüfus bürosunun tanımına göre göç "kişinin köken yerinden başka bir yere giderek orada kalıcı yerleşmesi ve böylece ikamet yerinin değişmesi" anlamına gelmektedir. Sosyal bilimler literatüründe çeşitli göç tanımlamaları mevcuttur. Bu tanımlamaların ortak noktası göçün dini, siyasi, coğrafi, sosyal ve nihayet iktisadi etkilerinin olmasıdır. Göçün ekonomik etkilerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada, TR7bölgesine dâhil olan Niğde'den başka bölgelere göçün belirleyicilerini ortaya koyarak geriye göçün olabilirliğini araştırmak temel amacımız olmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Niğde ilinden göç için en fazla tercih edilen iller; AR-GE harcamaları, maaş durumları, sanayi sektörünün dağılımı gibi ekonomik göstergelerin yanında cinsiyet, eğitim durumları ve gidilen yerlerdeki mutluluk düzeyleri analiz edilerek Niğde ili ile karşılaştırmaya tabii tutulmuştur. Söz konusu veriler birlikte değerlendirildiğinde çalışmamızda varılan sonuç; Niğde ili nüfusunun da Türkiye'deki iç göç nedenlerinde olduğu gibi başta ekonomik kaygılar nedeniyle göç ettiğidir. Niğde'nin fizyolojik özellikleri de değerlendirildiğinde tarımsal alanların yetersizliği ve ürün çeşitliliğinin azlığı, teşvik primlerinin yetersizliği gibi nedenlerle yine ekonomik sonuçlara bağlanan göçler yaşanmıştır. Geriye göçün olabilirliği için Niğde'nin tarımsal karakterden sıyrılıp sanayiye eğitim sağlık gibi sosyal alanlara devletle birlikte özel sektörün de el atması gerekmektedir. Son bir öneri olarak yerel ekonomilerin yerelden kalkınabilmesi için Niğdeli olup da il dışında yaşayan girişimcilerin Niğde'ye gelip yatırım yapmaları göçün önüne set çekecektir.
dc.description.abstract	The fact of migration has begun with existing of human beings and will continue as long as human beings exist. According to description of UN Population Division migration means "that a person moves a place from his/her origin place and resides permanently there and change his/her place of residence". There are several descriptions of migration in social sciences literature. The common point of these descriptions is that migration has religious, political, geographic, social and finally economic outcomes. Our main goal in this study, in which economic effects of migration are reviewed, is to investigate the probability of remigration by revealing the determinants of migration from Niğde, where is included in TR7 section, to other regions. In this regard, the provinces, that are preferred for migration from Niğde, are compared with Niğde thereby being analyzed in the sense of sexuality, educational status, prosperity level besides economic indicators such as r&d expenses, salary level, distribution of industry sector. After being assessed aforementioned data, the conclusion of this study is that the population of Niğde had migrated initially because of economic concern which is also reason of internal migration in Turkey. When geographic specifications of Niğde is taken into consideration, migration depended on economic results were seen because of insufficiency of cultivated areas, restricted product range and scarcity of incentive premiums. To make possible remigration, Niğde must tend to build industry and get rid of its agricultural characteristics, develop social areas such as education and health by getting the aid of both state and private sector. A last suggestion: that entrepreneurs, who are originally born in Niğde but live in a different city, reside and invest in Niğde will block migration.
