dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Gümüşler ve Aktaş yöresinde yayılım sunan birimler üzerinde yapılan gözlemler sonucunda bölgenin jeoloji haritası ve jeolojik enine kesitleri hazırlanmıştır. Daha sonra gözlenen bu birimleri yapı malzemesi olanağı yönünden değerlendirebilmek için araziden blok örnekler alınmıştır. Alınan bloklardan karot örnekler ve ince kesitler hazırlanarak birimlerin petrografik ve jeomekanik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Yörede yayılım sunan gabrolar ayrışmamış olduklarında yüksek dayanım değerleri sunmuşlardır. İgnimbiritler ise en düşük dayanıma sahip olan litoloji olup, yörede yapı taşı olarak kullanılan en yaygın birimi oluşturmaktadır.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, Gümüşler and Aktas geology map and geological cross sections were prepared as a result of observations made on the units spread in the region. Then, block samples were collected to evaluate these units as a source of building materials. Geomechanical and petrographical characteristics of the units are determined by the cores and thin sections that sampled from the blocks. Gabbros in the region, represented high strength values if they not weathered. Ignimbrites are the lithologies that have the lowest strength values, and they are the most common unit used as building stones in the region.
