Özet
Bir bölgenin doğal, kültürel ve tarihi değerleri o bölgenin turizm potansiyelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle sektörün gelişmesi, varlık nedeni olan her türlü çevre değerinin korunmasına bağlıdır. Kalkınma ve çevrenin sürdürülebilmesi için en uygun stratejilerin saptanması ve yürütülmesi gereklidir. Bunu yaparken temel amaç; çevrenin korunması, iyileştirilmesi, kırsal ve kentsel alanda arazinin ve doğal kaynakların en uygun şekilde korunması; su toprak ve hava kirlenmesinin önlenmesi, ülkenin bitki ve hayvan varlığı ile doğal ve tarihsel zenginliklerinin korunmasıdır.Çiftlik, Niğde İli'nin bir ilçesidir ve ilin kuzeybatısında yer almaktadır. Çalışma alanı doğal güzellikleri ve henüz keşfedilmekte olan tarihi değerleri ile önemli turizm potansiyeline sahiptir. Etrafı dağlarla çevrili olan ilçede yerleşme, ova tabanına ve dağ eteklerine yayılış göstermiştir. Bulunduğu konum itibariyle sahip olduğu doğal kaynaklar ve güzellikler, yine bu doğal ortamın insan yaşamına olanak sağladığı coğrafi yapısı ile tarihten bu yana ilgi çekmiş ve farklı kültürlere beşiklik etmiştir. Bütün bu yönleriyle ilçenin ekoturizm potansiyeli açısından önemli bir alan olduğu görülmektedir.Bu bakımdan çalışmada ilçenin doğal ve kültürel yönden araştırılması ve ekoturizm potansiyelinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda yapılan çalışmaların bölgenin ekoturizm alanı olarak değerlendirilmesinde ve tanıtımında etkili olacağı düşünülmüştür.Çiftlik'in doğal çevre şartları içerisindeki genel özelliklerinden jeomorfolojik, jeolojik, hidrolojik, bitki örtüsü, iklim, toprak özellikleri, arazi kullanımı gibi doğal özellikleri incelenmiştir. Beşeri görüntü içinde ise ulaşım, sağlık, eğitim, arazi kullanımı, nüfus ve yerleşme özelikleri anlatılmıştır. Yerleşme içerisinde köy tipleri, mesken çeşitleri ve mesken yapımında kullanılan malzemelerin özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Nüfusun yıllara göre gelişimi ve değişimi gösterilmiş, kırsal nüfus özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Doğal ve beşeri faktörlerin ilçede ne kadar ve ne şekilde birbirini etkilediği üzerinde durulmuştur. Kültürel coğrafya araştırmaları içinde ise ilçede yer alan yerleşik kültürel değerleri anlatılmıştır.Ekoturizm yönü ile önemli potansiyele sahip ilçedeki doğal güzellikler ve tarihi değerler üzerinde durulmuştur. İlçede yapılabilecek ekoturizm faaliyetleri anlatılmıştır. Keçiboyduran ve Melendiz Dağı üzerinde yapılan yaylacılık faaliyetleri ve bunun dışındayapılabilecek kış ve dağ turizm faaliyetleri, yaban hayatı, doğal güzellikler, tarihi değerler ekoturizm açısından değerlendirilmiştir.Sonuç olarak bugün için Çiftlik Havzası'nın doğal ve kültürel değerleri ve ekoturizm potansiyeli açısından değerlendirmesi yapılırken olumlu ve olumsuz neticeler verilmiş, imkânsız olmayan çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Çalışmada özellikle bu havzaya farklı bir perspektiften bakılması gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır. Sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanmasında her türlü kararı alacak, planlayacak, programlayacak ve uygulayacak olan insan faktörü olduğundan; bilgili, bilinçli, duyarlı, strateji ve politika üretebilen ve bunları gerçekleştirebilen nesiller yetiştirmenin önemi üzerinde durulmuştur.
One region?s naturel and cultural values compose the potential of tourism. That?s why the improvement of this sector depends on the protection of every kind of enviromental values that are the reason of existence . There is need of arranging strategies and putting them into practice to develop and protect the enviroment. The basic aim is to protect and improve the enviroment, to protect the fields and naturel resources in both rural ana urban areas, to prevent water, air and land from pollution, to protect the naturel and historical richness and the presence of plants and animals of the country.Çiftlik is a province of Niğde and it is stated northwest of the ctiy. With its workspaces, natural beauties and historical values, it has an important potential of tourism. The city where is surrounded mountains, people usually lodge in the plains oud at the skirts of mountains. By its natural resources and beatuies, and by also its geographical area that enables people to live there, it has been atractive and it has been an accomodation for different cutures. With all this, the area is seen as a potential for ecotourism.That?s why in these study it is aimed to search the city?s nature and culture and to determine it?s potential of ecotourism. İt is thought that the study will be effective in accepting the city as a potential for the ecotourism area and in its introduction.From Çiflik?s general features in natural enviroment, the natural features like geomorphology, geologic, hydrologic, greenstuff, features of the ground, land use are investigated. İts features like transport, health, education, land using, population, lodgment are explained. İn the lodgment part, the varities of towns, the varities of houses and the materials that are used in their building are explained. İt is focused on the changing of population in years and the rural population features.That is focused on how the natural and human factors affects each other. İn the cultural-geographic part; the stated cultural valves in the town are explained.Natural beauties and cultural valves in the ctiy which has an important potential with the aspeet of ecotourism are stated in the text. Potential ecotourism activities are explained. Transhumance activities on the Mount Hasan and Mount Melendiz and also the winter, mount tourism activities, wildlife, natural assest, historical valves are explained in accordance with ecotourism.Finally while evaluating Çiftlik in the aspect of natural and cultural values and the potential for ecotourism, both positive and negative results emerged end possiblesuggestions were prsented. İn this study it is especially focused on that there is need of looking this plain in a different perspective.
