| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde biyografi kullanımın öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde biyografi kullanımının öğrencilerin akademik başarısına etkisini belirlemek için 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Programının içerisinde yer alan ? Türk Tarihinde Yolculuk?, ünitesi ?Anadolu Ana Yurt? konusu seçilmiş ve bu kapsama uygulanmak üzere konu ile ilgili biyografiler taranmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulaması 2009-2010 eğitim öğretim yılı birinci döneminde Kayseri ili, Kocasinan ilçesi, 60. Yıl Cumhuriyet İlköğretim Okulu'nda, iki ayrı sınıfta, 50 kişiden oluşan örneklem üzerine öntest - sontest olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada 7. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Programında yer alan ?Türk Tarihinde Yolculuk?, ünitesi ?Anadolu Ana Yurt? konusu deney grubuna öğretim materyali olarak biyografi kullanılarak, kontrol grubuna ise biyografi kullanımına yer verilmeden anlatılmıştır. Araştırmada hedeflenen verilere ulaşabilmek adına ? Türk Tarihinde Yolculuk?, ?Anadolu Ana Yurt? konusu kapsamı dahilinde uzman görüşleri çerçevesinde araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış, aynı zamanda araştırmanın öntest ve son testinde uygulanmış olan dört seçenekli çoktan seçmeli 15 sorudan oluşan başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın alt problemleri SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz yorumlarında t testinden faydalanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde biyografi kullanımı öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını artırmada etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to show the academical success of students using biographies in the study of Social Sciences. To surface the academıcal success of the use of biographies in the study of Social Sciences, the unit ?A journey in the History of the Turks? which specifies the benefits of the use of biographies in the study of Social Sciences and is included in the 7th grade Social Sciences Program includes the chosen topic of ?Anatolia Mother Land?. Specific biographies have been analized regarding this topic. This research took place in a before-after test format during the first term of the 2009-2010 education year in the state of Kayseri, the district of Kocasinan, and in the `60. Yıl Cumhuriyet İlköğretim? School. Two different classes (a total of 50 students) took part in this research. The unit ?A journey in the History of the Turks?, which is found in the 7th grade Social Sciences program of the research, the topic?Anatolia Mother Land? was given to the experimental group with the aid of biographies as educative materials, and was given to the control group, however, without the use of biographies. To reach the aimed data in the research, ?A journey in the History of the Turks?, ?Anatolia Mother Land? topic was prepared using the views of experts by the researcher, and at the same time the four optional multiple choice success test which consisted of 15 questions was used as the research?s before and after test. The sub problems of the research were analized with the SPSS program. The interpretations of the analysis benefitted from the test. According to the outcome of the analysis, the use of biographies in the study of social sciences increases the academical success of the students. | |
