Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Mardin ilinde dağılım gösteren akrep faunasını belirlemektir. Bu çalışmada 2002 -2006 yılları arasında toplanan 121 akrep örneği üzerine çalışılmıştır. Toplanan örneklerin morfolojik özellikleri belirlenmiş ve yapılan morfometrik analizler sonucunda Buthidae familyasından üç (Mesobuthus eupeus, Androctonus crassicauda, Hottentotta saulcyi), Iuridae familyasından bir (Calchas nordmanni) olmak üzere toplam 4 türün söz konusu araştırma sahasında yayılış gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.Anahtar Sözcükler: Buthidae, Iuridae, Mesobuthus eupeus, Androctonus crassicauda, Hottentotta saulcyi, Calchas nordmanni, akrep, fauna, Mardin.
