Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, Niğde il merkezinde bulunan bay ve bayan kuaför salonlarında çalışanların sosyodemografik özelliklerini, geçirdikleri mesleki hastalıkları ve bulaşıcı meslek hastalıklarla ilgili bilgilerinin olup olmadığını, kuaför salonlarının iş sağlığı ve güvenliği açısından fiziksel özelliklerinin yeterliliğini ve işyerlerinde meydana gelen iş kazalarını araştırmak üzere iki farklı anket düzenlenmiştir. Kuaför salonlarına ilişkin anket, 95 adet erkek kuaför ve 61 adet bayan kuaför salonunda yapılmıştır. Kuaför çalışanlarına ilişkin ankete 105 adet erkek kuaför ve 110 adet bayan kuaför katılmıştır. Anket sonucu elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda, Niğde il merkezinde bulunan kuaför salonlarının aydınlatma ve termal konfor bakımından iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kriterlerine uygun olduğu, ancak havalandırma ve hijyen bakımından yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, iş kazaları minimum düzeyde olmasına rağmen çalışma sürelerinin fazlalığı ve ergonomik olmayan çalışma şartlarından dolayı kuaför çalışanlarında kas ve iskelet sisteminde oluşan ağrılı meslek hastalıklarının yaygın olduğu ve çalışanların bulaşıcı meslek hastalıkları hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları görülmüştür.
In this thesis, two different questionnaires were designed to investigate the occupational accidents occur in the workplace and sociodemographic characteristics, occupational diseases, whether the information related to infectious occupational disease of the workers and the adequacy of the physical characteristics in terms of occupational health and safety of hairdressing salons in the Niğde city center. The questionnaire for the hairdressing salons was conducted in 95 men and 61 women hairdressing salons. The 105 male and 110 female hairdressers participated in the questionnaire for hairdresser workers. As a result of analyses of the data obtained from the questionnaire, it was determined that the hairdressing salons in the Niğde city center to comply with occupational health and safety criteria in terms of lighting and thermal comfort, but to be inadequate in terms of ventilation and hygiene. Besides, it was observed that the workers were found to not have sufficient knowledge about infectious occupational diseases and the painful occupational diseases occuring in musculoskeletal system were common in the hairdresser workers due to the excessive working hours and non-ergonomic working conditions in spite of the minimum level of occupational accidents.
