The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of 8-week badminton target training and coordination training on attention level of children. 90 volunteer children between the ages of 11-15 (male = 54, female = 36) participated in the study. The children were grouped in three groups: The control group (CG) (N = 30), who did not perform any exercise; the badminton group (BG) (N = 30) who performed badminton training 3 days a week for 8 weeks, and the experimental group (EG) (N = 30) who performed badminton target training and coordination training in addition to the badminton training. Burdon Attention Test was used to determine the attention levels of the children. The attention levels of the children were measured twice; first, before the study started and secondly, after 8 weeks of exercise. Paired t test was used to determine the difference between the attention levels in the pre-test and the post-test level. As a result of the statistical analysis, there was no statistically significant difference between the pre-tests and post-tests of the CG, while it was found out that the Burdon introduction, Burdon development and Burdon final scores of the BG and Burdon introduction, Burdon development, Burdon final and Burdon total scores of the EG increased in the last test statistically significantly. As a result, it has been found that the attention-deficit, which is one of the important problems of today's children, can be reduced by badminton training. In addition, it can be said that coordination developing activities and target trainings applied to children will make extra contribution in reducing attention deficit in children.
