dc.description.abstractÖZET KOHEZYONLU ZEMİNLERİN FİZİKSEL VE MEKANİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN ULTRASONİK YÖNTEMLE TAHMİN EDİLEBİLİRLİLİĞİ BAY, Yakup Niğde Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Jeoloji Mühendisliği Ana Bilim Dalı Danışman: Doç. Dr. Sair KAHRAMAN Mayıs 2003, 147 Sayfa Bu çalışmanın amacı, kohezyonlu zeminlerin fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerinin ultrasonik yöntemle tahmin edilebilirliliğinin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmada Niğde ve çevresindeki sekiz farklı birimden alman numuneler üzerinde incelemeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan laboratuar çalışmaları sonucu araziden alınan örneklerin, fiziksel, mekanik ve ultrasonik özellikleri tespit edilmiş ve veriler istatistik yöntemlerle değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçlar kohezyonlu zeminlerin bazı fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerinin ultrasonik yöntemle tahmin edilebilirliliğini göstermiştir. Prof. Sair KAHRAMAN May 2003, 147 pages The purpose of this work is to investigate estimation of physical and mechanical properties of cohesive soils using ultrasonic the method. Investigation was carried out on eight samples taken from different locations of Niğde area. In the laboratory studies, physical, mechanical and ultrasonic properties of samples have been determined and tests results were evaluated using statistical methods. Results show that, some physical and mechanical properties of cohesive soils can be estimated using ultrasonic methods. In addition, the correlations among the soil properties were investigated.
