'Ottoman' strawberry has a unique taste and excellent flavor with its pale pink color and oval seem. Nowadays, studies on fruit quality criteria have focused on 'Ottoman' for its sweetness and flavors. Although, 'Ottoman' strawberry has potential to use as a germplasm, there is no documentary information about its origin. The aim was investigating the origin of 'Ottoman' strawberry with iPBS markers. The 'Ottoman', its three hybrids 1-1 ('Ottoman' x Festival), 2-2 ('Ottoman' x Sabrina) and 3-1 ('Ottoman' x Amiga); species of F. vesca, 'Kaşka', 'Sevgi', 'Arnavutköy', 'Amiga', 'Festival', 'Sabrina', 'Camarosa', 'Sweet Ann', 'Fortuna', 'Rubygem' and 'San Andreas' were included in this study. 191 bands were recorded from 10 primers and 187 of them were polymorphic. Average of polymorphic band rate was calculated as 99.47% and average of PIC value calculated as 0.48. In the dendrogram obtained as a result of the research, Ottoman', 'Hybrid 2-2', 'Amiga' and 'Camarosa' were found closer to each other.
