Özet
Niğde Erkek Sanat Enstitüsü, günümüzde Niğde Öğretmen Evi olarak kullan lan binad? a 1944?45 Öğretim Yılı'nda 183 öğrenci ile Niğde Orta Sanat Okulu olarak eğitim öğretime başlamıştır. Bu tarihte okulda Tesviye, Demir ve Ağaç İşleri bölümleri açılmıştır. Okul 1947 yılında ortaokul üzerine 2 yıllık eğitim veren enstitü haline getirilmiştir. Yine 1947 yılında enstitü bugün Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi'nin bulunduğu yeni binasına taşınmıştır. Enstitü, ilk açıldığı yıllarda öğrenci bulmakta zorlan?rken, mezunların çabuk iş bulmaları, enstitünün daha sonraki y?llarda öğrenci mevcudunun artmasına neden olmuştur. Enstitü ilk mezunlar?n? 1948?49 Öğretim Y?l?'nda 79 öğrenci ile vermiştir. 1964?65 Öğretim Yılı'nda enstitüye Elektrik bölümü aç?larak, enstitüdeki bölüm sayısı dörde çıkarılmıştır. Elektrik bölümü, ilk mezunlar?n? 1966?67 Öğretim Yılı'nda 19 öğrenci ile vermiştir. 1964?65 Öğretim Yılı'nda enstitü ortaokul üzerine eğitim veren üç yıllık Sanat Enstitüsü olmuştur. Üç yıllık Sanat Enstitüsü ilk mezunlar?n? 1966?67 Öğretim Yılı'nda 63 öğrenci ile vermiştir. Ayn? öğretim yılında okul orta kısmını kapatmış ve öğrenci almamaya başlamıştır. Enstitü 1948 ve 1975 yılları arasında enstitü kısmından toplam 1490 öğrenci mezun etmiştir. Okul öğrenci mezun etmekle kalmamış Niğde'nin ilçelerinde hatta köylerinde kurslar açarak halkın çeşitli meslek dallarında eğitimini sağlamıştır. Ayrıca okulda yapılan çeşitli kültürel etkinlikler Niğde halkının ilgisini çekmiştir. 1973?74 Öğretim Yılı'nda okul Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi adını almıştır. Meslek Lisesi'nde Tesviye, Metal İşleri, Ağaç İşleri (Mobilya ve Dekorasyon) ve Elektrik bölümleri faaliyet göstermiştir. 1981?82 Öğretim Yılı'nda Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi bünyesinde Teknik Lise açılmıştır. Teknik Lise'ye Meslek Lisesi'nin birinci sınıfından not ortalamasına göre öğrenci alınmıştır. Bu yüzden Teknik Lise'de birinci s?n?f bulunmamaktad?r. Teknik Lise, Meslek Lisesi'nin birinci s?n?f? üzerine üç y?l eğitim vermiştir. Teknik Lise ilk mezunlarını Makine bölümünden 12 öğrenci ile vermiştir. Teknik Lise'ye 1984?85 Öğretim Yılı'nda Elektrik bölümü açılmış ve bölüm sayısı ikiye çıkmıştır. 1987?88 Öğretim Yılı'nda ise Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi'ne Elektronik bölümü açılmıştır. 1975?2000 yılları arasında Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi 4519 öğrenci mezun verirken, 1983?2000 y?llar? aras?nda Teknik Lise ise 584 öğrenci mezun etmiştir. Söz konusu okullarda kurulduğu günden günümüze kadar 12 müdür ve çok sayıda öğretmen görev yapmıştır. Bu okulların mezunları gerek Niğde'de gerekse diğer şehirlerde çeşitli sanayi kollarında ve fabrikalarda vasıflı eleman olarak çalış ?p Türkiye ekonomisine katk?da bulunmuşlardır. Özellikle Niğde Sanat Enstitüsü mezunları okuldan mezun olur olmaz iş bulabildiklerini söylemişlerdir. Bu mezunlardan birçoğunun yurtdışına gittiklerini de görmekteyiz. Bugün Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi 1 müdür, 1 müdür başyardımcısı, 5 müdür yardımcısı, 76 öğretmen, 4 memur, 8 teknisyen, 8 hizmetli ile eğitim öğretime devam etmektedir. Endüstri Meslek Lisesi'nde 660, Teknik Lise'de 146 öğrenci olmak üzere toplamda 706 öğrenci öğrenim görmektedir. Günümüzde Niğde Endüstri Meslek Lisesi binas?nda 9 atölye, 16 derslik, 3 resimhane, 1 fen laboratuar?, 1 konferans salonu, 4 bilgisayar laboratuar?, 1 otomasyon laboratuar? ve 2 lojman bulunmaktad?r. First years, school had difficulties to find students, but after graduated students found job quickly, school population increased. First 79 students graduated in1948?1949. In 1964?65, school became an Art Institute that continuing three-year period after intermediate school. Firstly in 1966?67, 63 students graduated from three-year period Art Institute. Not only students were graduated but also school provided a kind of Vocational education by opening course in the village of Niğde. Furthermore, culturel activities organized in the school drew attentions of people in Niğde. In 1973?74, school was named as Niğde Industrial Vocational High School. In school, there were smoothing, metal, woods, (decoration, furniture) and electricity sections. In 1981?82, Technical High School was opened as a branch of Niğde Industrial Vocational High School. The students were accepted Technical High School by their grade point average after the first class of Vocational High School. Because of this reason, there were no first class in Technical High School. Technical High School educated students three years after first year of Vocational High School. Firstly, 12 students were graduated from machine section in Technical High School. In 1984?1985, electricity section was opened and section number increased two in Technical High School. In 1987?1988, electronic section was opened in Niğde Industrial Vocational High School. While 4519 students graduated from Niğde Industrial Vocational High School between 1975?2000, 584 students graduated from Technical High School between 1983?2000. In this schools, 12 headmasters and many teachers have worked until nowadays. Graduaters from this schools have contributed Turkish economy not only in Niğde but also other places as a qualified staffs. Especially Niğde Art Institute?s graduaters said that they could find job as quickly as possible. It can be seen that most of this people had gone to foreign countries. Today, Niğde Industrial Vocational High School continues education and teaching with 1 headmaster, 1 headmaster?s chief assistant, 5 headmaster assistants, 76 teachers, 4 officials, 8 technicians and 8 caretakers. There are 660 students in Industrial Vocational High School, 146 students in Technical High School and total 806 students. Nowadays, there are 9 workshops, 16 classrooms, 3 paintingrooms, 1 science laboratory, 1 conference hall, 4 computer laboratories,1 automation laboratory and 2 public housings.
