Özet
Buluş yolu ile öğrenme stratejisi öğretimde kullanılan en önemli stratejilerden biridir. Birçok kaynakta bu stratejinin Bruner tarafından bulunduğu veya geliştirildiği belirtilmektedir. Fakat bu strateji, Osmanlı devletinin son dönemi olan II. Meşrutiyet dönemi sırasında uygulanan eğitim faaliyetleri içerisinde yer almıştır. Darulmuallimin müdürü olan Satı Bey, bu stratejiyi tam olarak kullanmış ve kurmuş olduğu tatbikat mektebinde de yaygınlaşmasını sağlamıştır. Tedrisat Mecmuasında buluş yoluyla öğrenme stratejisine dair bir makale yazan Satı Bey bu stratejinin esaslarını anlatım yöntemi ile karşılaştırarak sunmuştur. Buluş yönteminin önemi ve nasıl uygulanacağına dair oldukça somut örnekler veren Satı Bey, bu yöntemin sınırlılıklarından da bahsetmiştir. Yine bu mecmuada yayınlanan ders örnekleri de buluş yöntemine göre yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada da Satı Bey’in bahsi geçen makalesine günümüz Türkçesiyle yer verilirken aynı zamanda Tedrisat Mecmuasında yer alan ve buluş yöntemi ile işlenmiş bir ders örneğine de yer verilecektir.
Learning with discovery strategy is one of the most important strategies which are used in teaching. In many sources it is explained that this strategy was found or developed by Bruner. However, this strategy took place in the teaching activities which were implemented during II. Meşrutiyet Period that was the last period of Ottoman State. Satı Bey the Director of Darülmuallim, used this strategy exactly and made it more extensive in practice school which himself founded. Satı Bey, who wrote an atticle about Learning with discovery strategy in Teaching Periodical presented the principals of this strategy comparing with expression method. Satı Bey, who gave considerably concrete examples about the importance of discovery method and how it is implemeted, also mentioned about the limits of this method. The lesson examples published in this periodical were prepared according to discovery method. In this study, a lesson example from Teaching Periodical that was implemented with discovery method and the article of Satı Bey that was mentioned above will be published in daily Turkish.
