Özet
Bu çalışmada ilköğretim ders kitaplarının birinci derece muhatapları olan ilköğretim sosyal alan ders öğretmenlerinin himayeci değerlerle ilgili görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İlköğretim sosyal alan ders öğretmenlerin himayeci değerlerle ilgili görüşlerinin belirlenmeye çalışıldığı bu araştırma tarama modeli niteliğinde olup literatür taraması ve anket teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Eğitim aracılığı ile değerlerin kuşaklar arası aktarımla devamlılıklarının sağlanması önemlidir. Bu süreçte ise sözlü ve yazılı kültür ürünlerinin önemli bir yeri vardır. Sözlü kültür ürünlerinin yanında, bir kültür aktarıcısı olan öğretmenler de önemli bir yer tutar. Bu çalışmada, bu doğal gelişmenin; itaat, saygı, otorite, güven, bağlılık, gelenek, himaye, yardımlaşma, fedakarlık, paylaşma gibi değerlerin öğrencilere aktarımında ve kavratılmasında bu işin birinci derecede muhatapları olan ilköğretim sosyal alan öğretmenlerinin himayeci değerlerle ilgili görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öğrencilere, okul içi ve okul dışı yaşamlarında himayeci değerlere uygun olarak davranmaları gerektiği, geleneksel toplumlarda, himayeci değerlerin bireylerin içinde yaşadıkları topluma sağlıklı uyumlarında önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu, himayeci değerlerin toplumda benimsenerek günümüze kadar varlığını korumasında inanç ve geleneklerin önemli bir etkisinin olduğu, toplumdaki himayeci değerlerin, gelişmelere ve yeniliklere uygun hale getirilmesi için yeni anlam ve tanımlamalara ihtiyacı duyulduğu gibi noktalarda öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğunun olumlu görüş bildirdikleri görülmektedir.
With this work, it is aimed to indicate the opinions of primary school social sciences teachers,first correspondences of primary school text books, about protectionist values. It has the qualifications of a “search” model, and includes survey techniques. It is important to keep the continuity of transfer of the values through the generations by the means of education.Within this process, verbal and vocal cultural products have a solid place.Here , its aimed to indicate the approaches of primary school teachers about transferring to the students, this above mentioned natural process, the values like respect,authority, discipline, trust, commitment, tradition, protection, self-sacrifice, solidarity and communion. Contemporary views and definitions are required in shaping the protectionist values in the society according to developments and modernities.
