Özet
Yeryüzünde bulunan şehirlerin, insanların toplu yerleşmesiyle birlikte (Neolitik) başlayıp, aynı yörede farklı mevkilerde, günümüze kadar varlığını sürdürdüğü görülmektedir. Anadolu yarımadası da, bu eski şehir yerleşmelerinin varlığıyla, dikkati çekmektedir. Çalışmaya konu olan Konya şehri de, bunlardan biridir. Şehrin kuruluşu ve tarihi gelişimi incelenirken, yerleşme tarihine de değinilecektir. Bunlar şehrin büyüme ve gelişme yönü ve sosyal ekonomik gelişmeleri kapsamaktadır. Şehrin Türk medeniyetindeki özellikle, Selçuklu ve Osmanlılar dönemindeki tarihi gelişimi incelenecek ve bu dönemlerin şehir üzerindeki etkileri ortaya konulacaktır.
The urbanization around the world emerged during the Neolitic era and the location of the cities have been in almost the same land since then. The Anatolion Peninlusa is an important area with the existence of such ancient cities. Konya is one those cities which is the subject of the research. While looking into the settlement and the development of the city, the history of the settlement will be mentioned. This will be about the way city develops and socio economic development. The historical development of the city, especially, during the Seljucks&Ottoman period will be examined and the influence of the civilization on the city will be handle so that the results will be discussed
