In this study in Şanlıurfa and it?s neighbourhood in Southeastern Anatolia Region 328 spiders and 126 of these samples were examined from 12 locations in two years between 2007 and 2009. In the and of the study it was defined that species investigated belon to 16 different families and 38 species and 29 kinds that belong to these 16 families were obtained as a result of this study. Six of them which were obtained from this species were identified as new records for the fauna of Turkey (Trachyzelotes fuscipes, Mughiphantes mughi, Cheriacanthium pelasgicum, Aelurillus aeruginosus, Ozyiptila trux ve Zodarion lutipes). The species obtained were studied from the point of fauna, ecological and systematic. The morphology of the species were defined in details, their synonyms and their spread in the world and in Turkey were stated. Brief information about their phenology and habitat was given. In spider classification, the idendification keys of [41], [8], [42], [44], [46] were used. As for the zoogeographic distrubitions of spiders species, ıt was given in accordence database of online world spiders. Binocculer stereo microscopes were used during classification (Olympus SZX 16, Olympus SZ 61). The photographs of spiders were taken with digital camera. The ones which were identified were labelled and put into conservation jars and they were finally taken under preservation as museum possessions in the museum of Arachnoloji at Nigde University (NUAM).
