Öğe AMINOPHOSPHINES DERIVED FROM 1-AMINO-4-METHYLPIPERAZINE: SYNTHESIS, OXIDATION AND COMPLEXATION REACTIONS(TAYLOR & FRANCIS LTD, 2012) Sarioz, Ozlem; Oznergiz, SenaFunctionalized mono(amino)phosphines of the type Ph2PNHR (1) and bis (amino) phosphine of the type PhP(NHR)(2) (2) have been synthesized by treating Ph2PCl or PhPCl2 with 1-amino-4-methylpiperazine. Ligands react with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, elemental sulfur, or selenium to give the corresponding chalcogenides in good yields. The molybdenum complexes of the aminophosphines have been obtained. All of the new compounds were characterized by IR, H-1, and P-31-NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis.Öğe Aminophosphines Derived from N-Phenylpiperazine and N-Ethylpiperazine: Synthesis, Oxidation Reactions, and Molybdenum Complexes(WILEY-BLACKWELL, 2011) Sarioz, Ozlem; Oznergiz, Sena; Saracoglu, Hanife; Buyukgungor, OrhanFunctionalized aminophosphine of the type Ph2PNR2 (1,2) have been synthesized by treating Ph2PCl with N-phenylpiperazine or N-ethylpiperazine. Oxidation of these ligands with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, elemental sulfur or selenium afforded the corresponding phosphine oxides 3,4, sulfides 5,6, and selenides 7,8 in good yields. The molybdenum complexes of the aminophosphines have been obtained. All new compounds were fully characterized by IR, NMR, and microanalysis, and the molecular structures of two representative compounds were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. DOI 10.1002/hc.20733Öğe Bis(4-methylpiperidinyl)-phenylphosphine and bis(4-benzylpiperidinyl)-phenylphosphine: Synthesis, derivatization, molybdenum complexes and DFT calculations(PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD, 2014) Sarioz, Ozlem; Kandemirli, Fatma; Oznergiz, SenaFunctionalized bis(amino)phosphines of the type PhP(NR2)(2) have been synthesized by treating PhPCl2 with 4-methylpiperidine or 4-benzylpiperidine. The ligands react with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, elemental sulfur or selenium to give the corresponding chalcogenides in good yield. The molybdenum complexes of the bis(amino)phosphines have been obtained. All of the compounds were obtained in good yields and were characterized by IR, NMR and elemental analysis. Quantum chemical calculations, such as HOMO-LUMO energies, Mulliken charges etc., were carried out using B3LYP/6-31G(d,p), a version of the DFT method with the standard GAUSSIAN 09 software package program for the bis(amino)phosphines and their chalcogenides. The experimental and theoretical results show that PPh(NC5H9CH3)(2) (1) and PPh(NC5H9CH2C6H5)(2) (2) are strong sigma-donors and have similar electronic properties. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. Ligands react with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, elemental sulfur, or selenium to give the corresponding chalcogenides (38) in good yield. The molybdenum complexes of the bis(amino)phosphines (9,10) have been obtained. All of the compounds obtained in good yields and they were characterized by IR, NMR, microanalysis, and also quantum chemical calculations such as HOMO-LUMO energies, Mulliken charges, and dipole moment for compounds 18 and complex 9 were carried out by using B3LYP/6-31G(d,p), a version of the DFT method with standard Gaussian 09 software package program.Öğe Crystal structure, spectroscopic investigations. and quantum chemical calculational studies of N-diphenylphosphino-4-methylpiperidine sulfide(ELSEVIER SCIENCE BV, 2014) Saracoglu, Hanife; Sarioz, Ozlem; Oznergiz, SenaThe title molecule, N-diphenylphosphino-4-methylpiperidine sulfide (I), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, H-1 NMR, P-31 NMR, IR and X-ray single-crystal determination. The molecular geometry from X-ray determination, vibrational frequencies and gauge, including atomic orbital (GIAO) H-1 NMR and P-31 NMR chemical shift values of the title compound (I) in the ground state have been calculated using the density functional theory with the 6-31G(d), 6-31G(d,p) and 6-311G(d,p) basis sets. The calculated results show that the optimized geometry can well reproduce the crystal structure, and theoretical vibrational frequencies and chemical shift values show good agreement with experimental values. The predicted nonlinear optical properties of the title compound are greater than those of urea. In addition, DFT calculations of the molecular electrostatic potentials, frontier molecular orbitals of the title compound were carried out at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory.
