Özet
Gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının Türk Dünyası'na yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme türlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunun belirlenmesinde gönüllülük noktası temel alınmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilimler Eğitimi Bölümü, Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında öğrenim görmekte olan 118 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Akın, Saraçlı, Kılıç ve Yıldırım (2017) tarafından geliştirilen "Türk Dünyası Tutum Ölçeği" ile araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formunda; cinsiyet, sınıf, yaş, yerleşim yeri, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi, mezun olunan lise türü, son bir yılda Türk dünyası ile ilgili kitap okuma, son bir yılda Türk dünyası ile ilgili herhangi bir konferans veya seminere katılma, üniversitede Türk dünyasına yönelik bir ders alma, Türk Dünyası'ndan bir ülkeye seyahat etme değişkenleri yer almaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular ışığında sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının Türk Dünyası tutum düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Cinsiyet değişkeninde erkek öğretmen adayları lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sınıf, yaş, yerleşim yeri, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi, mezun olunan lise türü, son bir yılda Türk dünyası ile ilgili kitap okuma, son bir yılda Türk dünyası ile ilgili herhangi bir konferans veya seminere katılma, üniversitede Türk dünyasına yönelik bir ders alma, Türk Dünyası'ndan bir ülkeye seyahat etme değişkenlerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In this research, it was aimed to determine the attitudes of social studies teacher candidates towards the Turkish World. The research was conducted using the descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The study group of the research was determined by easily accessible sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling types. Volunteerism was taken as a basis in determining the study group of the research. The study group of the research consists of 118 teacher candidates studying at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education, Department of Social Studies Education. In the study, the "Turkish World Attitude Scale" developed by Akın, Saraçlı, Kılıç and Yıldırım (2017) and the "Personal Information Form" created by the researcher were used as data collection tools. In the personal information form; gender, class, age, place of residence, education level of mother and father, type of high school graduated, reading a book about the Turkish world in the last year, attending any conference or seminar about the Turkish world in the last year, taking a course on the Turkish world at university. Variables include traveling to a country from the Turkish World.Variables include attending any conference or seminar, taking a course on the Turkish World at university, and traveling to a country from the Turkish World. SPSS package program was used to analyze the data collected within the scope of the research. In the light of the findings obtained from the research, it was found that the attitude levels of social studies teacher candidates towards the Turkish World were high. It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference in favor of male teacher candidates in the gender variable. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the variables of class, age, place of residence, mother and father education level, type of high school graduated from, reading a book about the Turkish World in the last year, attending any conference or seminar about the Turkish World in the last year, taking a course about the Turkish World at university, and traveling to a country from the Turkish World. Suggestions were made regarding the findings obtained.
