Özet
Bu çalışmada Oğuz TANSEL masallarının 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan kök değerler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Oğuz Tansel'in 1960'lı yıllarda yazmış olduğu dört masal kitabı (Altı Kardeşler, Yedi Devler, Üç Kızlar, Mavi Gelin) günümüzde Masallar ismiyle tek kitap altında altında toplanmıştır. Bu kapsamda Masallar isimli kitapta yer alan 19 masalda kök değerlerin yer alma durumu incelenmiştir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında bulunan verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre Masallar isimli kitapta kök değerlerin bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Masallarda en fazla tespit edilen kök değerin saygı değeri en az tespit edilen değerin ise dostluk değeri olduğu görülmüştür. 19 masalda toplam 598 değer ifadesi yer almaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda Oğuz Tansel'in Masallar isimli kitabında yer alan masalların kök değerlerin aktarımında kullanılabilir olduğu fakat masallarda bazı değerlere (adalet, dostluk, vatanseverlik) yeteri kadar yer verilmemesi nedeniyle eksik kalacağı tespit edilmiştir. In this study, it is aimed at examining Oğuz TANSEL's tales in terms of core values in the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum. Four fairy tale books (Altı Kardeşler, Yedi Devler, Üç Kızlar, Mavi Gelin) written by Oğuz Tansel in the 1960s are now gathered under one book under the name of Masallar. In this context, the presence of core values in these 19 fairy tales in the book named Masallar was examined. The study was carried out using the qualitative research method. Descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data within the scope of the study. According to the research findings, it has been determined that there are core values in the book called Masallar. It has been seen that the most mentioned core value in fairy tales is respect value and the least mentioned core value is friendship value. There are a total of 598 value expressions in 19 fairy tales. At the end of the study, it has been determined that the tales in Oğuz Tansel's book named Masallar can be used in transferring the core values, but some values (justice, friendship, patriotism) are not included enough in the tales, so they will remain incomplete. Based on the research findings, suggestions were made for teachers, parents and educators. Key Words: Values Education, Children's Literature, Root Values, Oğuz TANSEL
