Özet
Gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim döneminde Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim gören 177 öğretmen adayı oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Karaman-Kepenekci (2006) tarafından geliştirilen "Çocuk Haklarına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği" ve araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri SPSS 26.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri normal dağılım göstermediğinden Non-parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. İki kategorili değişkenler için Mann Whitney U- Testi, üç ve daha fazla kategorili değişkenler için ise Kruskall Wallis H-Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının çok yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada kadınların çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının erkeklerden yüksek olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada 1.sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerin çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutumlarının en düşük olduğu, 4. Sınıfta öğrenim görenlerin tutum puanlarının ise en yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte kardeş sayısına göre sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının farklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarından hiç kardeşi olmayanların çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumları, kardeşi olanlardan düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde mezun olunan lise türünün çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumun temel belirleyicisi olmadığı ifade edilebilir fakat Anadolu lisesi mezunu ve genel lise mezunu olan sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutumlarının yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. İmam hatip lisesi mezunu ve meslek lisesi mezunu sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının ise çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutumlarının düşük olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının anne ve baba eğitim durumu değişkenine göre farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Bu farklılık anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi yüksek olan öğretmen adayları lehinedir. Araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının yerleşim yeri değişkenine göre farklılaştığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Yerleşim yeri ilçe olan sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yerleşim yeri köy olan sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının ise düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The propose of this research was to determine the general attitudes of social studies teachers who are studying in social studies education department about children's rights and the variables that affect these attitudes. The study group of the research was consists of 177 students studying at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies teaching in the 2020-2021 academic year. The descriptive survey model was applied in the research. Questionnaire for Measuring Attitudes towards Children's Rights developed by Karaman Kepenekci (2006) to determine the attitudes of participants toward children's rights was used as a data collection tool with the personal information created by the researcher. Research data were analyzed with SPSS 26.0 package program. Non parametric tests were used because the research statistics did not show normal dissemination. For two-category variables The Mann Whitney U-Test was used, and the Kruskall Wallis H-Test was used for three or more category variables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the attitudes of social studies teacher candidates towards children's rights are very high. In the research, it was disclosed that women's attitudes against children's rights were surpassing from men's. In the study, it was determined that the students studying in the 1st grade had the lowest attitudes towards children's rights, while the attitude scores of the students studying in the 4th grade were the highest. However, it was consummated that the attitudes of the nominees facing children's rights conflict with the number of siblings. It was concluded that the attitudes of those who had no siblings approaching children's rights were lower than those. When the results of the research evaluated, it can be stated that the high school graduated is not the main determinant of the attitude towards children's rights, but it has been determined that the attitudes of the social studies teacher who are Anatolian high school graduates and general high school graduates are high. It was determine that the attitudes of social studies teacher who graduated from imam hatip high school and vocational high school concerning children's rights were low. In the survey , it was determined that the attitudes of social studies teacher candidates towards children's rights differ according to the mother and father education level variable. This difference is in favor of teacher candidates with a high level of mother and father education. In the scrutinize, it was found that the attitudes of social studies teacher nearing children's rights differ according to the variable of residence. It has been determined that the attitudes of social studies teacher, whose settlement is a district, concerning children's rights are high. It has been resolute that the attitudes of the social studies teacher whose settlements are in village towards children's rights are low.
